  7. THE STORY

  9. The Demons, being really PISSED mortals have beaten them decided to take their
  10. revenge by stopping XMAS.  So, they invade Santa's Workshop at the northpole.
  11. It's you just to put a stop to those bastards and make sure all the good little
  12. boys and girls can get Heretic for XMAS.

  17. LOADING THE GAME
  18. ================
  19. Before you can do anything you need to run the file "BUILD-XD".  This will
  20. create a 5 meg pwad containing all of the new sprites used with XD.  Once you
  21. have built this PWAD.  Just substitute "XMASDOOM" for the "DOOM2" when you
  22. go to play.

  24. If you want to play a netgame or modem game.. you need to use "XMASSER" and
  25. "XMASIPX" respectivly.

  30. The music is from a Roland MIDI collection and really sounds best on a
  31. wavetable card.  If you have a SB or SB16, set DMXOPTION=opl3 on.

  68. -- Mal:  Obviously this project could benefit from more time.  We only had
  69.          time to get three levels done and replace three monsters.  But we
  70.          replaced a lot of textures, and some of the items.
