- Title : malgnant.wad (malignant.wad)
- Author : Douglas Ryerson
- Email Address : dryerson@botany.utoronto.ca
- Misc. Author info. : this is my 15th level (2nd for Doom][). The
- title for it comes from the fact that I have
- seen other wads named bastard, wanton, etc.
- and so I thought I would contribute to this
- wad naming genre. (what a lame reason!)
-
- Feedback is appreciated, especially about
- the difficulty and/or the layout. I am interested
- to know what you think about the layout, the
- choice of textures, set up of rooms, traps, etc.
- In terms of difficulty, I am only one guy and
- so it is not easy to judge the difficulty of the
- level. Too easy, too hard?

- * Construction *
-
- Base : New level from scratch
- Build Time : Too much time!
- Editor(s) used : dck 2.0 (bsp 1.2x), Wintex33
- Known Bugs : Presence of two impassable linedefs at the height
- of two nearby windows in one room. These lines
- are not visible in the editor, nor did I draw
- them. They do occur in the game though. It was
- well into the design of the level when I
- discovered them and so was too late. I rearranged
- the objects in the game so that this problem
- will have little effect on the outcome and
- playability. DCK is a fairly stable editor
- and I assume that the lines arose as a result
- of an error in the editing program.
