  7. First of all, thanks to ID software for creating DOOM, and particularly
  8. for allowing, abetting, and encouraging anybody to create their own 
  9. DOOM levels.

  12. This is certainly my finest level thus far.  I designed this level with
  13. the single player in mind, but the level is especially engaging when used
  14. as a deathmatch arena, so either type of player should find it a treat.
  15. The level features complex and realistic lighting effects which add tension
  16. and ambience to the level.  It is quite a difficult level in Ultra-
  17. Violence mode, but I have been thorough in providing easier situations
  18. for lower skill levels.  Prepare to jump with fear more than a few times
  19. in this level: I've used some surprise techniques which I have not seen
  20. used elsewhere in the DOOM .WAD world, and if an essential element of your
  21. hair style is to make all your hair stand on end, this is the .WAD for you.

  23. This .WAD replaces E2M1.  It contains no known problems.  If you find it
  24. too difficult, lower the skill level.

  26. I'd like to know how many people try this level.  If you try it, please let
  27. me know, even if you don't like it.
