- * Misc Notes *
-
- I realized that my favorite deathmatch levels (Raven level 1,
- Ledges-x, and maps 7, 9, and 11 from Doom2.wad) uniformly share a concentric
- design. I like big levels, and I figured that the best way to build large
- levels yet still keep the map connected enough for "Frag-a-Minute" action
- is to build the level in a series of concentric rings, with frequent
- connections between rings to ensure that players never get lost or out of
- shooting range from each other for long periods of time. The level is big
- enough and stocked well enough with ammo to accomodate four player play,
- yet 'cozy' enough for just two players to have a 'blast'. There are plenty
- of ledges, windows, secret passages, and dark nooks and crannies for
- memorable frags and 'sniper' styles of play, yet the level runs well enough
- for the fast paced frag machine (my personal style) as well.
- Try it out, and have fun!
