  3. My Name is GEEZUS CRICED. A fellow doomer currently known as Medic suggested
  4. that all you frag festin' doomers could use a QUALITY packet of great death 
  5. match levels for Doom II to bide your time.  Since H2H is the best place to be 
  6. a Doomer, we have dedicated to H2H Doomers this assembly of some of the best 
  7. levels (one of which just happens to be mine) ever made for death match.  
  8. At H2H we play Doom II way too much, and therefore we take Doom VERY 
  9. seriously. AND THIS WAD IS SERIOUSLY FUN! :)

  11. Only a few H2H wads actually made the cuts for this compilation. The text
  12. files linked to each wad ARE INCLUDED in txtfiles.zip for the glory of
  13. each & every wad author who contributed.  If any text files are missing, we 
  14. somehow never got them.  Pavel Hodek, Mal Blackwell, & Mark Gresbach Jr. all 
  15. built two levels which made the grade for this wad. Congradulations to them & 
  16. all the authors who made these 19 levels; selected from among the thousands 
  17. that are out there in cyberspace.  Nine of the levels were extracted from 
  18. AJE-CMBO.WAD, by Aaron J. Edwards. A few levels were slighlty modified by me 
  19. for compatibility, and better deathmatch playablility, but most were not 
  20. touched. OK honestly, I spent a lot of time on most of these levels to fix
  21. various bugs with line defs, & enable good single & co-op playability. 
  22. I realize some of the authors may be upset with some changes, but that's
  23. why their own versions are available as a stand alone level!
  24. Oh, I didnt fix H2HCHRCH bugs because I tried & it didnt play any faster
  25. at all & a verticle line developed, I will fix later & maybe re-release
  26. as a stand alone level.

  28. Many of these levels are popular but may not have even been seen by H2H 
  29. doomers prior to the release of this wad.  But beware! Dwango DORKS & Doomers 
  30. abroad we will know these levels well & we challenge you to logon TO H2H with 
  31. this wad in hand and experience feast or famine, HEAD 2 HEAD!

  33. H2H HAS DECLARED WAR ON THE WORLD ON ALT.GAMES.DOOM.  COME 'N GET IT!

  35. The H2H WOODEN DOORS & H2H SKY, & TITLESCREEN were ALL MODIFIED by GEEZUS 
  36. The sky texture is one I actually had planned to use in my next wad which
  37. was only about 20% done at the time of the release for this wad.

  80. My only regret is that none of the levels in this wad were made by Dave Swift,
  81. who is probably the best wad author I know of anywhere.  The custom textures 
  82. Dave uses would have conflicted with many of the levels & slowed play. :(
