  8. Tired of playing level 01 on the servers?  Want something similar, but
  9. different?  Well, you've come to the right place!  Maximum Carnage was
  10. designed to be a replacement for level 01, but yet be different enough
  11. to provide the players with a new deathmatching challenge.

  13. That's not to say that it's only built for deathmatch.  Single and Coop
  14. starts are certainly installed, and while the level is fairly easy, it's
  15. supposed to be, as it's replacing level 01.

  19. Episode and Level #     : Doom ][, Level 01
  20. Single Player           : Certainly.
  21. Cooperative 2-4 Player  : But of course.
  22. Deathmatch 2-4 Player   : Pfft!
  23. Difficulty Settings     : I didn't go nuts with 'em, but they're in
  24.                           there.  The level is pretty easy on all but
  25.                           nightmare, and even that's not so bad.
  26. New Sounds              : No
  27. New Graphics            : No
  28. New Music               : No
  29. Demos Replaced          : None

  33. Base                    : New level from scratch.
  34. Editor(s) used          : Mostly DEU, but Edmap on occasion.  Took me
  35.                           about 4-5 hours to complete.
  36. Known Bugs              : Slight HOM in the round staircase room.  It's
  37.                           minor, and doesn't affect gameplay.

  41. Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional
  42. levels.  I don't mind if you use something from my level to form a new
  43. and interesting thing for your own level, but please don't rip anything
  44. from it directly.
