  11.                           This WAD has a distinct anti-Barney theme.

  13.                           Barney or Barney and Clinton patch.
  14.                           These important patches seem to have 
  15.                           disappeared off the FTP sites so I include
  16.                           them in the ZIP file of AMBIENT.
  17.                           I have reached the exit in Ultra-Violent 
  18.                           without cheating.

  74. These are the years of the Tribulation.  It all started when, with a
  75. trumpet call and a loud command the Lord called forth the His children,
  76. living and dead.  Millions witnessed the sight of dead believers
  77. springing out of their graves and the living and resurrected believers
  78. together rising up into the clouds.  After that, things went downhill
  79. fast.  The forces of hell no longer bother with their former use of
  80. deception.  Instead, demons openly roam about killing anyone they
  81. encounter.  A massive military deployment only aggravates the problem as
  82. central authority breaks down and Army, National Guard and Police forces
  83. degenerate into roving bands of desperate armed men.

  85. Desperate for some new delusion to believe in the face of the
  86. overwhelming evidence that Biblical Christianity is true and they are
  87. damned, the hysterical masses in their folly turn to the worship of the
  88. blackest and most terrible fiend of them all-- BARNEY!!!  Everywhere
  89. billboards and posters extol the Purple False Messiah and his minions.

  91. Secure for the moment in your survivalist enclave, you wait for some
  92. indication that conditions will improve.  But each day the sounds of
  93. shooting, screaming and roaring chainsaws increase, punctuated at
  94. intervals by that terrible singing:

  96.                       "I love you, you love me..."
  97.  
  98. Everyone you once cared for is dead or caught up in the rapture with
  99. Jesus.  With all utilities and services cut off, survival is a struggle
  100. and comfort and convenience are only a memory.  There is no honor in
  101. clinging to life under these circumstances!  Grimly, you take your
  102. pistol and go out into the corridors, determined to kill as many as
  103. possible before meeting your own inevitable violent death.
