- When creating this level, we used to some extent a theme of water (or blood
- and slime as the case may be.) You will see that the river of water
- encircles the outside portion of the level, a lake of blood comes up to meet
- you as you enter the underground portion of the level, and a slime river
- flows through much of the north and west sides of the level. There is even
- a slime fountain on the east side which we think looks very cool.
-
- We have tried to spread the weapons out evenly in this level and prevent
- cramming all of the good stuff only in hidden areas.
-
- Due to the size of this level, in two-player games you may find that you
- arehaving difficulty the other player. We suggest that in this case the
- two players should agree on areas of the level not to be used.
-
- One trick we use to locate the other players is to monitor the map,
- lifts will disappear and reappear as they are used. This allows a player
- to occasionally see where another player is. We feel that this does not
- spoil the play, as it is infrequent and looking at the map constantly is
- a quick way to die.
-
- The music used in this level is titled "Mars, the Bringer of War", it is the
- first movement of "The Planets" by Gustav Holst.
- (The Planets is a god-like piece and should be worshipped accordingly.)
-
- We have enjoyed the construction and (especially) the play testing of this
- level, and we hope you will too.

-
- * Final Note *
-
- Aardvark has nothing at all to do with this level. We just wanted it to be
- at the top of the alphabet and thought the word "Aardvark" sounded funky.
