  6. CHANGES TO TRANSITION AS OF 9 DEC 1994 (Version 1.2.1):

  10. - Fixed problem with Preserve Aspect Ratio not properly working under
  11.   Scaling options. Now no longer produces 0 byte files when entering
  12.   only Width value.

  16. CHANGES TO TRANSITION AS OF 5 SEP 1994 ( Version 1.2 ) :

  18. NOTICE: Transition has been crunched in order to fit on the
  19.         main disk. No external libraries are needed to uncrunch
  20.         Transition. This will not affect the performance of
  21.         Transition, only the time needed to uncrunch and load
  22.         Transition.

  24. ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
  25.  
  26. - No longer requires 68020 or higher. Will run on 68000 machine if
  27.   you so desire, though it is HIGHLY discouraged and will hardly
  28.   be useful, due to the lack of speed!
  29.  
  30. - PCX support limited to Type 3 and Type 5 files. No 24 bit support
  31.   for PCX as of yet. Currently limited to 256 color images.
  32.  
  33. - Monochrome PCX files automatically converted to B&W without need
  34.   for color quantizing. All options other than SCALING and OUTPUT TYPE
  35.   are ignored for 2 color PCX files. However, if you have other file
  36.   types, including >2 color PCX files in the batch list, you may
  37.   select any of the other options as before. This is just an added
  38.   bonus to be able to convert both B&W AND Color files in the same
  39.   batch process.

  41. - During batch conversions, file information displayed above in the
  42.   gadgets for the single file conversions. Information being displayed
  43.   is as follows:

  45.   Name of file being converted
  46.   File type      Width          Height         FileSize
  47.   Name of file as it will be saved
  48.  
  49.   Note that this is identical to the single file processing. However,
  50.   this information will be displayed for each file that gets converted
  51.   in the batch process.

  53. - Removed delays inserted to enable reading of text in the STATUS
  54.   gadget. Don't be concerned that the status bar whips across now!
  55.  
  56. - Recoded parts of Transition in assembly. Transition is a bit faster
  57.   as a result.

  60. BUG FIXES:

  62. - SLAMMED an Enforcer hit! :) Caused by freeing memory for the busy
  63.   pointer, even if not allocated! This one would cause a BIG TIME
  64.   GURU! Sheesh! Sorry about that! This puppy is now SQUISHED!

  66. - Memory checking enabled for batch conversions. If you're saving your
  67.   files to RAM: and you don't have enough to convert a file in the
  68.   batch list, it will bypass that file and continue on with the rest
  69.   of the files in the batch list. No more crashes due to lack of ram!
