  5. This is the game of Gravity Well, for Windows, from ARITEK Systems,
  6. Inc. It is still in its infancy so be nice to me if you find a bug.
  7. I've been jammin' on this one and it's possible one of the nasty things
  8. slipped by me.

  10. There are two executables distributed in this archive. They are:
  11.  
  12. GWELL.EXE - This version does not use the floating point math 
  13.     co-processor in your computer. It should pretty much work
  14.     for anybody.
  15.  
  16. GWELL_FP.EXE - This version is supposed to use the math-co if
  17.     you have one, otherwise work without it. This one may not
  18.     work if you do not have a math co-processor. Unfortunately,
  19.     I've had some difficulty getting this compiler option to
  20.     work reliably and Watcom's technical support isn't all that
  21.     great.

  23. System Requirements:
  24.     - Microsoft Windows. This has been tested under Windows For
  25.         Workgroups, Windows95, and Windows NT Workstation.
  26.     - You need a reasonably fast computer but not necessarily a
  27.         screamer by today's standards. Try it, if it's too slow
  28.         for you then your computer isn't fast enough.
  29.     - High resolution video display. The bigger the screen the
  30.         better. This game was sort of a personal challenge for
  31.         me to make a decent arcade action video game under
  32.         Windows that worked well at high resolution. I think I
  33.         succeeded.
  34.     - A mouse helps. Some controls can't be accessed without it
  35.         but you don't really need them anyway.
  36.     - A sound board adds to the fun but isn't required.

  38. Installation Instructions:
  39.     Copy the files to a directory on your hard drive. There are
  40.     no special path or environmental requirements. Just run the
  41.     game. Add it to whatever program shell you use however you
  42.     normally do it. That usually makes it easier to run again
  43.     next time.
