  18. One registered copy of KAWA may either be used by a single person who uses
  19. the software personally on one or more computers, or installed on a single
  20. workstation used nonsimultaneously by multiple people, but not both.

  22. All rights not expressly granted in this license agreement are reserved
  23. entirely to KAWA Authors.

  25. Governing Law

  28. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

  30. Disclaimer of Warranty

  33. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND WITHOUT
  34. WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES
  35. WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Because of the various hardware and software
  36. environments into which KAWA may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A
  37. PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED. Good data processing procedure dictates that
  38. any program be thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on
  39. it. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program. ANY
  40. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT REPLACEMENT
  41. OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.

  43. Commercialware License

  46. Evaluation and Registration

  49. This is not free software. You are hereby licensed to use the commercialware
  50. evaluation version of KAWA for evaluation purposes without charge for a
  51. period of 45 days. If you use this software after the 45 day evaluation
  52. period a registration fee is required, as described in KAWA order form
  53. Under no circumstances are you licensed to distribute KAWA created by the
  54. commercialware evaluation version of KAWA. Unregistered use of KAWA after the
  55. 45-day evaluation period is in violation of U.S. and international
  56. copyright laws.

  58. Distribution of KAWA

  61. You are hereby licensed to make as many copies of the commercialware evaluation
  62. version of this software and documentation as you wish; give exact copies
  63. of the original commercialware version to anyone; and distribute the commercialware
  64. version of the software and documentation in its unmodified form via
  65. electronic means. There is no charge for any of the above.

  67. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting donations, for
  68. any such copies, however made; and from distributing the software and/or
  69. documentation with other products (commercial or otherwise) without prior
  70. written permission, with one exception: Disk Vendors approved by the
  71. Association of Commercialware Professionals are permitted to redistribute KAWA,
  72. subject to the conditions in this license, without specific written
  73. permission.

  78. We, KAWA authors, hereby grant you an extended ninety (90) days evaluation
  79. period if:

  81.    * You are a student, faculty member or staff member of an educational
  82.      institution (K-12, junior college or college).

  84. Government agencies are not considered charitable non-profit organizations
  85. for purposes of this license agreement.

  87. If you do not fit within the description above, a license fee is 
  88. due to KAWA authors and no license is granted.
