  2. 'Let the earth's waters
  3.   be gathered together!' said God.
  4.     'Let dry land appear!'
  5. He called the dry land 'earth'
  6.   and the gathered waters 'sea' -
  7.     splendid in his eyes.
  8. 'Let the earth grow plants and trees!' said God,
  9.   'seed-bearing plants and fruit trees!'
  10. Plants and trees appeared -
  11.  splendid in his eyes:
  12. so came the evening and the morning
  13.   of the third day.
