Chapter One.
a) All nouns in French are either masculine or feminine.
There is no definite rule for telling which is which.
Learn each noun with its le or la; it helps if you
make an imaginary association with a man,woman,boy or
girl.Eg:- le mur = the wall; (Imagine a man building a
wall, because mur is a
masculine word)
la porte = the door;(Imagine your girlfriend
coming through the door!)
