  3. Further to your requset in Archive the Genesis
  4. application !Problems has some things that I can
  5. not get to work and some definite bugs.
  6.  
  7. At school I have found it helpful if Genesis
  8. applications can chain each other but unfortunately
  9. the browswer tends to hang the machines if more than
  10. one copy is running at once so the Chaining directory
  11. demonstrates my solution.

  13. I have also found it useful
  14. to add
  15.   IF "<Browser$Running>"=1 THEN Error 0 You can't run two copies of Browser.  Use the icon bar Browser icon menu to quit. 
  16. to the start of the Browser !Run file and alter the
  17. last few lines of the !Run file to
  18.   SET Browser$Running 1
  19.   RUN <Obey$Dir>.!RunImage %*0
  20.   UNSET Browser$Running
  21.  
  22. As I mention in !Problems the supplied SaveBox template
  23. does not have an indirected sprite and the replacment
  24. enclosed remedies this.

  26. The two applications in the Tutorials directory are ones
  27. I use with year 7 pupils but are customised to my set up
  28. (Nexus application servers and Econet for pupil data) and
  29. assume a Mode 35 screen, our customised icon bar, our
  30. in house menu system 'ArcMenu' and Welcome screen so are of
  31. limited use to the Swap Shop but might provide some ideas
  32. for others. On many of the pages there is a delay or the
  33. correct action is necessary before the 'next' icon appears.
