  1. Further to the article by Audrey laski on p58 of Archive 9.4, I
  2. can reveal that there is in fact a password facility for the
  3. Acorn Pocketbook. Apparently the code for the password option is
  4. still in the Pocketbook ROM but has been disabled. The freeware
  5. application 'Acopass' fully restores the password functionality.

  7. I found this out from one of the Acorn staff at the BETT and have
  8. been using it ever since - no problems.

  10. It is published by FireCrest Software who can be contacted by
  11. email on firecrest@zarquon.demon.co.uk. The copyright banner
  12. includes the words 'FREELY DISTRIBUTABLE' so I have appended the
  13. application.
