ART Networking
----------------------------------------------------------------------
* Complete network protocols stacks for all applications
* High performance implementation
* Industry standard connectivity
* Design expertise available
ARTæs portfolio of network components and systems include standard
networking stacks and allows a high degree of mix and match to suit
most requirements.
Networking applications from ART include Web browsing, Email and News
software.
Peer to peer networking technology enables very simple but highly
effective sharing of resources such as hard discs and printers
between groups of computers.
Desktop filers for NFS and LanManager as well as a number of other ART
designed network connectivity user interfaces are available as
separate items, or combined in the general purpose user interface
ÉOmniclientæ which is popular in mixed network environments.
Underlying software is based on BSD 4.3 Unix Internet software which
provides TCP/IP based connectivity and also NetBIOS/NetBEUI or
NetBIOS/IP for LanManager services.
A clean and well documented interface between the network transport
software and the drivers enables users to create their own specific
drivers. ART can supply SLIP, PPP and Ethernet card software modules
and support developers with documentation and example code.
