  1. Cable View Demonstrations.

  4. These Demonstrations are the ones that accompany !CableNews II from Linis International. 
  5. They are the copywrite of Lindis and may not be distributed without their permission or 
  6. modified in any way. 
  7. This includes !CableView.
  8.  
  9. If you buy !CableNews you will, under the software licence agreement be able to 
  10. copy !CableView and distribute it with slides made in !CableMake without payment 
  11. providing it is for non-commercial purposes.

  15. To run these demonstrations run sparkplug and drag the "cablenews" directory onto its icon. 
  16. You can then drag the files in it, !CableView,!System,!Sysmerge and the two directories 
  17. onto hard or floppy discs.
  18.  
  19. From the copies firstly update your system.
  20.  
  21. Run !Sysmerge.
  22. Drag your master !system to its master window.
  23. Drag the new un-sparked !system to the update window. Your !system will be updated.
  24.  
  25. Now run !CableView.
  26. Select the directory for  which type of computer you are using and read the readme file.
  27. Press menu over the !CableView icon and set the preferences.
  28.  
  29. Then run the !AcornDemo or !RiscPCdemo
  30. From the stories directory drag the file "demo" 
  31. into the !CableView icon and the demo will run controlled by the mouse.
  32. Press ESCAPE to get back to the Desktop.
