  13. {S:X;X;0;3;Dear Sirs,{ITR-X}                                                                                       I have just obtained my copy of Wordz (1.02) and I am very impressed. As a keen Pipedream user I know that you are interested in feedback about your programs, so I am writing with a \öwish list\ò of those features I would like to see in new versions. These are not a criticisms - just a few suggestions / comments.}
  14. {S:X;X;0;4;Clear All Styles / Effects:{ITR-X}The most infuriating thing about Wordz which I have found to date is that it is impossible to clear styles just from a selected bit of text (the Clear all styles command in Impression II). If you try to use the Regions dialogue then you have to clear the  style from the whole region, not just a part of it. You can overlay the text with the basestyle but this then makes the Regions very messy with overlayed bits of basestyle showing up as separate Regions. The same applies to effects. You can\æt even put the caret into the middle of a piece of styled text and start typing in the basestyle.}
  15. {S:X;X;0;5;Styles:{ITR-X}While we are on the subject of styles, it would be nice to have a display in order of depth of the different styles at the caret (eg. in the Style picker dialogue).{ITR-X}Also, when you use \öitalic on\ò and \öitalic off\ò buttons (or hot-keys) you don\æt just switch off and on the italic region, you layer over each other successive \öitalic on\ò and \öitalic off\ò regions (the same applies to bold etc.)}
  16. {S:X;X;0;6;Keyboard Editing:{ITR-X}I can\æt find a list of keyboard shortcuts in the manual (forgive me if I\æve missed them) - they just seem to be scattered through the text. I have found a few by accidentally pressing them that don\æt actually seem to figure in the manual at all (eg. Ctrl-A to select the whole text). The main source of infromation is the \ö^X\ò in the RiscOS menus. Could we have a list in a future manual (some of us read it).{ITR-X}While we\ære talking about the manual, could we also have a list of the function key uses{ITR-X}PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, could the Delete key cut to the clipboard rather than losing text forever. A warning box would also be nice whenever you are about to do anything irrevocable (eg. Delete or Make blank){ITR-X}It would be nice if the Insert key would paste.{ITR-X}Could paste be put the caret at the end of the inserted section so you could carry on typing?}
  17. {S:X;X;0;7;Dates:{ITR-X}Your date format includes everything except the one I use (i.e. the one with st, nd etc. after the numeral).{ITR-X}Live dates are nice, but could we have a live template date which is subsequently fixed when saved as a normal file (I don\æt like the dates on my business letters spontaneously changing).}
  18. {S:X;X;0;8;Live links:{ITR-X}When other Z-set programs come out it would be really useful if you could \öSnapshot-Save\ò a document as well as saving it with live links intact. I use Pipedream 3 for simple live invoicing and it is a pain that when I send out an invoice I have to select the whole document, manually snapshot it and then save it.}
  19. {S:X;X;0;9;Spelling:{ITR-X}Could your spelling checker check the word at the caret if no word is selected - so if you are using check-as-you-type you can just backspace and Ctrl-K.{ITR-X}In addition, when you Replace a mis-spelled word could the caret is placed at the end - which is more useful for check-as-you-type.{ITR-X}Could your dictionaries also include \ötop bit set\ò characters (eg. proper quotes).}
  20. {S:X;X;0;10;Page Breaks:{ITR-X}I know that you also use page breaks to make new home pages for headers / footers but why can\æt there be a simple way of forcing a new page (at the moment you have to go Click Menu Θ Page Θ Pages... / [New] / [Page Break] / [OK])}

  22. {S:X;X;0;12;Before you get the idea that I don\æt like Wordz:{ITR-X}l I think the Tables are excellent.{ITR-X}l The user interface is ace (especially the way you can change the tabs within a style without having to mess around with the define style dialogue). {ITR-X} l The handling of columns is brilliant (especially the very easy resizing).{ITR-X} l The options to auto size things by double-clicking is pure genius. {ITR-X} l I like the use of Ctrl-Return to put newlines within paragraphs.{ITR-X}l The system of using templates makes developing stationery so easy and I like the way the User Templates directory is opened by Shift-Clicking Select on the Icon-bar Icon.}
