%CO:A,12,72%%H2%Notes on Citizen 120D Printer Driver for Pipedream 3 use
%H4%Ned Abell 30/1/90
Firstly where to start... do you configure the computer to issue
linefeeds or the printer, to avoid all the text printing on one line or
double spacing??... In %H2%%H1%MY%H2%%H1% situation the printer is configured with
switch two set to %H2%%H1%OFF%H2%%H1% and my z88 and a310 issue linefeeds and
carriage returns because of some accounting software I use,.. so
therefore
Printer set : Switch two off (no linefeeds)
Computer set : *Configure Ignore (gives *Status "NoIgnore")
and allows linefeeds to pass........
Pipedream 3 set : [FILES] [Save] (ctl FS)
"Line Separator" CR
giving the carriage return needed...
: [PRINT] [Printer Configuation] (ctl PC)
"Printer Type" Parallel
"Printer Driver" Citizen120
The driver itself is set to start up by clearing its
buffers and print in Pica NLQ all the time. However by selecting
printer effect 8 (user font) with (ctl PE) it will go into normal
draft printing until that effect is deselected. The printer should have
its internal DIP switches set to Epson #2 emulation and the USA
international character set (it automatically selects English to get ú
but you can print $ )- thats switch 3 on, 4 5 6 & 7 off. The setting
of switch 2, the auto line feed switch, is set as above. You can also
use (Ctl PA) to select the alternate elite font the machine uses. The
RISC-OS driver supplied with the computer on the applications disc can
also be used providing alternate fonts and graphics. %H8% (( This letter
extract text is in non-NLQ
(note one use of (ctl PE) to select the draft quality)))

Dear Citroen Car Club
We toured France last summer in our 2CV and stayed
at "Eurocamp" sites. At one, a couple of British tourists were unlucky
enough to need their cars bringing home on a car transporter and the
driver told me that he had once taken a 2CV back this way!! The reason
- a broken clutch cable which is not available for RHD cars in France.
The moral is clear, check your Citroen for the "British" part and take
%H5%(( and now its draft subscript followed by draft itallic))
%H4%one with you. My 2CV's now have spare clutch and accelerator cables
%H4%under the spare wheel. Because I carry a spare this means that I won't
%H7%(( and now in the alternate font pica NLQ (ctl PA)...good for
organisers!!!...))
......need to change one, especially when its pitch
black and raining!!. citroenistically ...........
Ned
%H8%%H5% SUBscript NLQooks like this%H7% and this as well in the other font!!

%H2%Printing this document is a test to see if your setup works
%H2%%H4%%H1% (ctl PO) best wishes and good luck ..great for a ú125 printer
