  1. Welcome to the demonstration battle of Pacific Islands specially
  2. created for Amiga Power readers by Oxford Digital and EMPIRE.\
  3. In the magazine you'll find information on how to play the game and get
  4. the most out of this demo.\
  5. On this "Briefing" screen you will get more information on your objectives
  6. by clicking on the arrow at the bottom of this page.

  8. You will get more information on the areas of interest on the map by clicking
  9. on the EYE icon at the top right of the screen.\\
  10. You can order up different sorts of artillery and mines by clicking on the
  11. artillery icon at the top right of the screen.

  13. In this scenario you must move rapidly southwards.\
  14. In the small village near the starting point there are a number of disabled
  15. enemy vehicles which you may pick off at your leisure.\
  16. Then the real work begins.

  18. The two villages in the south are connected by a supply line fed by
  19. a tank factory. Your mission is to disrupt the supply line and to locate and
  20. destroy the tank factory.\
  21. You must also locate and destroy a satellite installation in a forested area.

  23. If you can achieve all of these objectives within forty minutes, then
  24. you will be a fully decorated Power Hero.\\

  28. The small village to the south should provide you with a turkey shoot.
  29. |This is the area of the supply route which you must disrupt.
  30. |Aerial intelligence suggests that the tank factory is located
  31. somewhere in this village.
