  3. Purpose
  4. ~~~~~~~
  5. Group menu name sorter for Mr.Clippy. Sorts the names in the Group menu into
  6. alphabetical order.

  8. WARNING
  9. ~~~~~~~
  10. This is a stand-alone program which should be run when one or more new groups
  11. have been added to Mr.Clippy, but ONLY after Mr.Clippy has been Quitted.

  14. DO NOT run this program while Mr.Clippy is active; the result could be chaos.

  16. Instructions
  17. ~~~~~~~~~~~~

  19. You will need to change the path definitions in lines 18, 19, 20 and 21 to
  20. suit your own installation of Mr.Clippy. Only the parts which read
  21.  
  22.                      ADFS::IDEDisk4.$.Temp
  23.  
  24. will need changing.
  25.  
  26. If you are not using ADFS, change the ADFS part to match your filing system,
  27. e.g. to SCSIFS, IZipFS, etc.
  28.  
  29. You will probably have to change the IDEDisk4 part to match the name of the
  30. drive you are running Mr.Clippy from, e.g. to HardDisk, IDEDisc4, SCSI2, etc.

  32. The dollar sign will probably remain unchanged.

  34. The Temp part should be changed to whatever subdirectory (if any) you have
  35. installed Mr.Clippy into, e.g. Info, Pictures, MyClips, etc. If you run
  36. Mr.Clippy from the drive's root directory, then this bit should be removed
  37. altogether.

  39. Don't forget the dots between each part of the pathname. Change one line at
  40. a time, and compare it carefully with an unchanged line until you are sure
  41. the syntax is correct.

  43. Sorry about all this, but I only wrote it as a quick fix to implement a big
  44. improvement to Mr.Clippy. If somebody wants to put a nice WIMP front-end on
  45. it (drag the whole Mr.Clippy application to it), please feel free. Perhaps
  46. Mr.iSV will build this feature into the next version of Mr.Clippy, making
  47. this program obsolete. That would be even better, now, where did I put that
  48. registration card for free user upgrades?
