  1. These are some 'goodies' to go with Automine...
  2.  
  3. Automine's graphics are compressed to save disc space.  If you wish to
  4. alter them, you'll need to decompress them.  That's where these goodies
  5. come in.
  6.  
  7. The sprites are supplied compressed using Huffman encoding, but Automine
  8. will happily load uncompress sprites, and sprites compressed using Squash.
  9.  
  10. The main reason that Huffman encoding is used is that the Squash module is
  11. only available in RISC OS 3 and later.  Also, Squashed spritefiles require
  12. much more memory to load than Huffman encoded files.
  13.  
  14. NB:
  15.         The (c) terms forbid the distribution of modified copies of
  16.         Automine.  This means that you must not give anyone of copy
  17.         of Automine in any other state than the state it was in when
  18.         initially released.  ie.  with the original, unmodified,
  19.         Huffman encoded sprites.

  27. !Compress & !DeCompres
  28.         These are two (simple) Obey files that use the 'huff' program to
  29.         compress the Automine graphics.  They expect to be in the same
  30.         directory as the 'huff' program.

  33.         This is a simple huffman encoding program.  See huff/txt for
  34.         more information.
