  8. Introduction

  11. WebMaster is a visual web site editor.  It includes site management
  12. tools,  and a visual page editor.  In this demo,  we have included the
  13. current state of the IMS website as an example of what can be done with
  14. the software.
  15.  
  16. Getting started
  17. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  18.  
  19. You may need to run !UpdateSys to install the latest Toolbox modules
  20. into your System folder.  It is a good idea to shutdown and restart your
  21. machine after running !UpdateSys.
  22.  
  23. Then either run !WebMaster and click on it's iconbar icon to create a
  24. new site,  or double-click on !IMS to load the IMS website.
  25.  
  26. We strongly advise loading !Help while using this demo as interactive
  27. help is supported by WebMaster.

  29. Notes

  32. To preview your site or to publish it,  you will need some Internet
  33. access software (such as the ANT Internet Suite or Voyager).

  38. Several features are disabled or restricted in this demo version, 
  39. including:
  40.  
  41.   * Publish.  The full version will ftp your site to your provider.
  42.   * Export as tar file.
  43.   * Import existing site.
  44.   * Preview speed is fixed at 14k modem emulation.
  45.   * The demo version quits after 15 minutes.

  50. We are fully commited to developing WebMaster - it is our intention to
  51. make it the best web site editor on any platform.  We are currently
  52. working on selective upload and links within pages.  These should be
  53. working when you get this demo.  We also intend to have integrated
  54. table support by November.
