  5. This ReadMe file contains information to help you enjoy your experience using the
  6. Return to Castle Wolfenstein Promo CD-ROM.

  8. To maximize your enjoyment of this CD-ROM we recommend:

  10. For PC Users:
  11. Windows 95 or higher
  12. Pentium II 266 MHz of processing power
  13. 128MB of RAM 
  14.  
  15. For Mac Users:
  16. OS 8.6 or higher
  17. Power PC G3 350 MHz of processing power
  18. 64 MB of RAM
  19.  
  20. For the best performance, close or minimize any open applications
  21.  
  22. Once you insert the Return to Castle Wolfenstein Promo into your CD-ROM drive, it should begin to play.

  24. In the event that the autoplay feature does not work:

  26. Windows Users:

  28. 1.  Double-click "My Computer" on your desktop.
  29. 2.  Double-click on the CD-ROM drive.
  30. 3.  Double-Click "PC_Start".

  32. Macintosh Users
  33.  
  34. 1.  Double-Click the Wolfenstein icon on your desktop.
  35. 3.  Double-Click "MAC_Start" and enjoy your experience.

  37. COLOR AND DISPLAY PROBLEMS 
  38.  
  39. For best graphics, make sure your screen is set to display more than 256 colors. Here's how:

  41. Windows Users:

  43. Click Start on the taskbar, then Settings, Control Panel, Display and then the
  44. Settings tab to adjust the Color Palette.
  45.  
  46. Macintosh Users:
  47.  
  48. Click Apple on the taskbar, then Control Panels, Monitors to adjust the
  49. Monitor Color Depth.
  50.  
  51. SOUND PROBLEMS
  52.  
  53. If your computer is correctly set up to play sound, you should have no problems.
  54. If you hear no sound, make sure your speakers are plugged in and/or the volume is turned up.
  55.  
  56. If you still hear no sound, close other programs that use sound.  As a last resort restart 
  57. your computer.
