  6. This document describes how to replace a NiCad battery in your computer
  7. with a lithium coin (watch) battery. When NiCads get old, they can leak
  8. battery acid, which can eat traces on your computer and cause some
  9. rather serious damage if not taken care of quickly. Lithium batteries
  10. won't leak this acid, so are safer for a computer you plan to have
  11. around for a while. If you plan to replace your battery soon, consider
  12. going lithium, as putting another NiCad back in offers the same damage
  13. potential as your current NiCad.

  16. A501s, PCs, etc...
