  9. Extract from original Lesstif-0.76 docs:
  10.  
  11.     Lesstif is meant as a source compatible replacement/alternative to
  12.   Motif 1.2.  As such, it will have the same requirements as Motif 1.2.
  13.   As far as we know, the _only_ requirement that Motif 1.2 has is that
  14.   you have X11R5 on your system.  Lesstif will _not_ compile with R4 or
  15.   earlier.  If you have X11R5 or above, you should be able to compile
  16.   and run lesstif programs.

  19. This is a 'no-changes' version of Lesstif-0.76 for Linux/m68k with
  20. XFree68-3.2. It may work with other configurations but hasn't been
  21. tested. It works on my A1200 50MHz '030 (no fpu) Linux 2.0.22 with
  22. XFree68-3.2 so it should work for you too ;^)

  24. I have had to cut down this release considerably. I was planning to
  25. include all the source, .o files, etc. but that archive was around
  26. 8MB in size (tarred and gzipped!). So this archive contains just the
  27. binaries. If you want the source, it's available from ftp.hungry.com

  31. Look out for my other X11 binaries for Linux/m68k which are all
  32. available from my homepage (or at least they should be ;^)

  34. Other stuff compiled by myself includes :

  36. Xvt-2.0          - A 'no-frills' reduced memory and size XTerm.
  37. RXvt-2.8         - An improved version of Xvt with pixmap background
  38.            loading and other nice features.
  39. AfterStep1.0pre2 - THE Window Manager (IMHO).
  40. Xless-1.7        - An X version of less.
  41. XColors          - Displays available colours on your X server
  42.            (although i've never got it to display anything!)
  43. Lesstif-0.76     - What you've got your hands on now!
