  20. Inspired by fmath406 from aminet, here's an even faster FFP mathtrans.library 
  21. for you all to enjoy :)

  23. It's not ultra-faster or anything, but it IS faster :)
  24. (every function call is at *LEAST* 12+ clock cycles faster--or close to it)

  26. Just install it in libs over your old one.

  28. If you want to speedtest-compare this against the fmath406 version, download
  29. fmath406 from aminet (use their www search to find it), and the author 
  30. has included a speedtester program for speedtesting various math libs.

  39. 040/060 Notes:

  41. The 040/060 FPU doesn't have trig functions, therefore, will really slow
  42. down 040/060's pretty bad.  I'd recommend downloading fmath406.lha from
  43. aminet and using the specifically designed 040/060 libraries in that archive.

  47. Copy it over your existing mathtrans.library in LIBS:

  51. The only function I'm not sure of is the SPPow function--someone test
  52. it and make sure it's giving the right results for:
  53. Raising real #'s to a power, raising negative #'s to an odd power.
