  4. What does this program do?
  5. =========================
  6.   
  7.   This program re-instates the date stamp of your system directory should
  8.   it ever get changed by:
  9.   
  10.   i)  Broken versions of 'SysMerge'
  11.   ii) Moving the 'System' directory to another disc.
  12.   
  13.   That is its sole purpose. Any other use is in direct violation of
  14.   the conditions of use.
  15.   
  16. How does it do it?
  17. =================
  18.  
  19.   When you run this program for the first time it reads the date stamp of
  20.   the system directory and makes a record of it within the the Repression
  21.   directory. On subsequent use it will re-stamp the System directory with
  22.   that stored date.
  23.  
  24. How do I use it?
  25. ===============
  26.  
  27.   Ensure the System directory has been seen by the Filer and then
  28.   double-click on the Repression application. A window will open with a
  29.   short disclaimer in it. If you agree to the conditions then click the
  30.   'Agree' button, otherwise the program will quit.
  31.   
  32.   On agreeing to the conditions, the program will either record the 
  33.   datestamp, or restore it, depending on whether this is the first
  34.   time you have used this program. The program will then silently and
  35.   automatically quit.

  37. Distributing the program
  38. ========================
  39.  
  40.   You may distribute the program freely as long as all files remain
  41.   included and unchanged, and any distribution/duplication etc. costs
  42.   passed on to the purchaser are less than ú2.
  43.   
  44.   Please run the 'Distribute' file (within the Repression directory) before
  45.   copying, as this will reset the program to the 'unused' state. This can
  46.   also be useful if you want to give the System Directory a later date-stamp
  47.   at some stage.
