The surreal world of Terry Practchett’s Discworld just got darker…
Following on from the phenomenal success of previous Discworld adventure outings, GT Interactive Software and Perfect Entertainment are proud to announce DISCWORLD NOIR, on PC and PlayStation.
On the lonely streets of Ankh-Morpork, Lewton – the Discworld’s first Private Investigator – is out on a case. Once a member of the city watch, Lewton was thrown out for taking a bribe, and from there his life descended (as it does indeed with so many of us in the gaming industry) into alcoholism and failure.
As with all the best in the noir genre, when the beautiful - and dangerous – Carlotta slinks into his office and asks him to track down her ex-lover, a man named Mundy, Lewton sees an opportunity to turn his life around. But all is not as it seems…
And so it begins. A far darker offering than any of the previous Discworld games, Discworld Noir features many locations to explore, many puzzles to solve, and many strange and interesting characters to interact with…
Dramatis Personae:
Lewton: Discworld’s first P.I. Imagine Humphrey Boggart’s characters in films such as
‘The Maltese Flacon’ and ‘Casablanca’ and you’re there. Only taller. And better-looking.
