  1. This directory contains applications written specifically for particular
  2. versions of UNIX on PDP-11 systems.

  4. You will find sources to many contributed applications in the various 2BSD
  5. distributions in the archive. Note that many of these will be difficult to
  6. back-port to earlier versions of UNIX (e.g 6th & 7th Edition).

  8. Other places to look for PDP-11 UNIX software are the on-line archives of the
  9. comp.sources.unix USENET newsgroup. One such archive is at
