  1. This tape was provided to me (Rick Copeland) for transciption by Mr.
  2. Kirk McKusick.  The tape is 9 track magnetic media recorded at 6250 bpi.
  3. The following markings where observed on the physical reel:

  21.     Last 4 are tar, 6250bpi bs=20480

  23. The above is just as I found it on the reel however below is what I
  24. found recorded on the actual tape.  The only change is in the block 
  25. size of the first file which is clearly 512 bytes/block.
