  2. This is a patched version of JM 1.1 which fixes some problems with
  3. serial transfers on some machines.  JM 1.1 had disabled interrupts
  4. during the time that it looked at task lists.  This was to prevent
  5. tasks from being listed twice.  It did indeed fix this problem, but
  6. introduced another in that disabling the interrupts also caused
  7. problems with serial transfers.  This patch to JM 1.1 reverts to the
  8. old method (at the cost of periodic duplications in the "ps" output)
  9. until I figure out how to fix both problems at once.
