  26. CLIExchange    A 592 byte CLI replacement for the standard CBM Exchange
  27.         utility.  The only difference is that Exchange has a graph-
  28.         ical user interface while CLIExchange has been designed to
  29.         be called from CLI so it can be used within scripts, menus,
  30.         docks or hotkeys.  You need at least 2.04 system release.

  34. DieserZug    A nicely done WorkBench "Worms" type game, where the object
  35.         is to gobble up pieces making yourself longer and longer,
  36.         while avoiding running into the walls or your "tail".

  41. ITF        Amiga port of ITF4.01.  ITF stands for "Infocom Task Force".
  42.         There have been several ports of Infocom interpreters to the
  43.         Amiga, but none of this program.  The interpreter supports
  44.         v1, v2, v3 (Zork1 to Stationfall), v4 (Trinity, Bureaucracy,
  45.         etc.) and v5 (Sherlock, Beyond Zork etc.) games.  This is
  46.         more than any other freely distributable interpreter.  With
  47.         this interpreter you can play ALL the games in the LTOI2
  48.         package for the IBM PC, by copying the datafiles with Cross-
  49.         DOS or similar, then just running this interpreter.  Re-
  50.         quires OS 2.0+.  Binary only.

  53. PCal        Creates a very nice looking postscript calendar.  By
  54.         default, PCal simply prints an empty calendar.  Its
  55.         real power is in its ability to place ``events'' in
  56.         appropriate days on the calendar, thus allowing the
  57.         user to create personalized calendars.  This is achieved
  58.         through the use of a "calendar.dat" file that has
  59.         extraordinary flexibility.

  64. Replex        REPLace EXecutable.  This handy patch substitutes program
  65.         names that are about to be executed, e.g. if an icon
  66.         default tool specifies ":c/MuchMore" and you prefer to use 
  67.         "c:TextRead", you can have it defined as such.  You won't
  68.         have to change the icon.  This version also has a "catch"
  69.         option to automatically ask for a substitute if a tool
  70.         wasn't found.  Replex has a font sensitive intuition inter-
  71.         face, a snapshot option and an unlimited number of defini-
  72.         tions, but requires AmigaDOS v2.04 or later.  This is

  99. Forth        An update to the MVP-Forth directory on AmigaLibDisk #9.
  100.         Provided is an improved, faster screen editor which uses
  101.         the keyboard cursor keys, backspace and delete keys and
  102.         function keys which allow fast moving thru the screens,
  103.         pasting from PAD and the printing of screen, triad or PAD
  104.         to the printer port prt:.  F1 is the OOPs key.  Control
  105.         Keys give fast editing.  The control keys and Function
  106.         keys can be reprogrammed by the user if desired.  Runs on
  107.         Amiga 1000 and 3000.  Probably on Amiga 500 and 2000

  150. MakeCat        Makes creating locale catalog files easy.  It makes catalog
  151.         files from ASCII files that contain the strings and ID
  152.         numbers that should be included in the catalog.  Reverse
  153.         operation is also possible with UnMakeCat, so that existing
  154.         catalogs can easily be translated or changed.  Includes
  155.         example of how to use locale.library to read catalogs.

  160. Man        A simple MAN command, known from UNIX systems.  The advan-
  161.         tage is, that it recognizes .guide files to be AmigaGuide)
  162.         documents.  MAN then uses a different viewer in order to
  163.         display the AmigaGuide document.  Furthermore MAN recog-
  164.         nizes TeX-DVI files as well, using a different viewer to
  165.         display them.  You may configure MAN using environment

  238.         Includes six ".sl" files (library data) and a tool (fd2sl +
  239.         source) to add more.  Comes with an AmigaGuide manual.  This

  244.         a zipwindow that when activated, presents the user with a

  247.         dock-icon cluttering up your WorkBench for.   Includes
  248.         source for both English and German versions.

  251. SuperDuper    An exciting, high-speed disk copier and formatter.  Typical
  252.         timings are 99s for a disk-to-disk verified copy, or 38s for
  253.         a four disk non-verified format.  Also available are buffer-
  254.         ing in RAM, on a hard disk image file or on any sector-
  255.         based Amiga device, like RAD:, VDO:, FMS:, etc.  Real-time
  256.         compression using the Xpk standard allows to copy in one
  257.         pass most disks on 1M Amigas, especially in conjunction
  258.         with a special utility which "hides" external drives to the
  259.         system (but not to SuperDuper).  Bells and whistles include
  260.         high density floppy support, voice, automatic date incre-
  261.         ment, a list of the disks copied, and automatic start of
  262.         operations based on disk insertion/ejection sensing.  Works
  263.         on any Amiga under 2.0 and beyond.  The changes from version

  273. APipe        The `APipe-Handler' allows you to add the `APIPE:' DOS
  274.         device to your system.  This device acts as a pipe between
  275.         two programs, but in a different manner than the standard
  276.         `PIPE:' device does.  This handler interprets the text
  277.         after the `APIPE:' prefix as a command line to execute,
  278.         and the process/command which opens the file indicated by
  279.         the mention of `APIPE:' can now read the standard output
  280.         or write the standard input of the program indicated by
  281.         the command line depending on whether the `APIPE:' file
  282.         was opened for reading or writing, respectively.   Thus,
  283.         the opening an `APIPE:' file is analogous to the UNIX
  284.         `popen()' call, but it is more widely available to the
  285.         user.  Complete source is included and can be used as an

  313.         your paint program, as a texture in a ray tracing program

  316.         version 1.05, a complete rewrite in OBERON-2.  Removed more

  320. ConPaste    ConPaste is a 2.0 commodity that allows you to paste clipped
  321.         text into anything.  Paste into string gadgets.  Paste into
  322.         any text application.  In this new version, ConPaste drops
  323.         its priority by 1 when pasting text to allow sufficient
  324.         processor time for the receiving task or window to process
  325.         the text.  When you press a user-defined key or key combina-
  326.         tion, ConPaste will take any FTXT found in clipboard unit 0,
  327.         convert the text back into input events, and send the input
  328.         events into the input stream.  The output will go to the
  329.         active window or string gadget.  This is version 37.25, an
  330.         update to the version distributed with ClipWindow by Jim
  331.         Harvey, on disk 935.

  334. HuntWindows    Starting with 2.0 you can make screens bigger than the
  335.         visual size of your monitor.  On a double-size workbench,
  336.         catching windows like requesters etc. can be quite annoying

  338.         (Vertical Blank Interrupt) to find out which window is
  339.         being activated and moves the screen to show the window in

  361. Bin2Hunk    Convert any binary file to an AmigaDOS hunk (or object file)

  363.         is most useful when you wish some form of data to be a part
  364.         of your executable.  This data can be sound samples, images,
  365.         text, or whatever.  Sports a ReadArgs() CLI interface, as
  366.         well as a GadTools Intuition interface.  Memory type options
  367.         include ANY, CHIP, and FAST.  Allows naming of your hunks.
  368.         An optional data item containing the size of your data can

  387. JoyRide        A commodity that provides an intuition front-end for joy-
  388.         stick events.  This has some nice advantages for both users

  397. CapsLockExt    A Commodity that extends the effect of the CapsLock
  398.         key to every key on the keyboard, and allows the Shift
  399.         key to temporarily cancel the CapsLock key.  This causes
  400.         CapsLock to act like a SHIFT-lock key on a typewriter.
  401.         Requires OS 2.04 or higher.  Version 1.0, includes source
  402.         in assembly.

  405. FastJPEG    FastJPEG is a fast JPEG picture viewer.  Besides being fast,
  406.         it has many other advantages.  An important goal was to not
  407.         trade quality for speed.  In fact, FastJPEG is both fast
  408.         and has an excellent quality.  Most other JPEG viewers
  409.         either produce ugly pictures, or need ages to perform the
  410.         conversion to HAM mode.  Version 1.10, binary only.

  414.         time you boot, Harridan will check your event list, if an

  434.         each frame.  Supports SHAM, CTBL, and PCHG images, full

  1013.         directories causing MTool to display the archive contents
  1014.         in the directory list.  Now you can copy files into the
  1015.         archive (add), out of the archive (extract) or delete them.

  1125.         for disk backups.  It uses your existing SCSI adapter's
