  1. This directory contains change proposals submitted to the ANSI (American)
  2. and ISO (International) SQL3 standards committees. The file name prefix is
  3. as follows.

  5. ansi-94        To ANSI in 1994
  6. ansi-95        To ANSI in 1995
  7. ansi-96        To ANSI in 1996
  8. ansi-96        To ANSI in 1997
  9. rio        To ISO for the Rio de Janeiro meeting in January, 1995
  10. ott        To ISO for the Ottawa meeting in July, 1995
  11. lhr        To ISO for the London meeting in January, 1996
  12. mci        To ISO for the Kansas City meeting, May, 1996
  13. mad        To ISO for the Madrid meeting, January-February, 1997

  15. A new part of SQL3, termed SQL/Temporal, was accepted at the Ottawa meeting.
  16. The base document for this part, against which these change proposals are
  17. directed, is edited by Jim Melton, and may be available by contacting a
  18. member of the ISO committee. A recent SC21 document (SC21 N9174) contains
  19. the following paragraphs regarding protection of SC21 level documents,
  20. including WD's and CD's:

  22. "ISO policy precludes the posting of subcommittee documents in any type
  23. of electronic format that is accessible by individuals who are not 
  24. members of the subcommittee.  Posting of a document to an FTP site is
  25. allowable, if access to the site is controlled by password and after
  26. the ISO "Availability and Conditions for Use" license agreement has 
  27. been signed."

  29. The ISO documents found here are not restricted by this policy, as they have
  30. been released by their authors. Other SQL3 documents are available at
  31. speckle.nscl.nist.gov
