The database software used for SIGMOD-94 may be found in
sigmod94.tar.Z This software, to be used for recording program
committee evaluations, was started by David DeWitt for VLDB-88. It was
modified by Mike Carey for PDIS-92, and subsequently by Rick Snodgrass
for SIGMOD-94.
It uses the Ingres DBMS, and uses a combination of Quel queries, embedded
Quel, and embedded SQL.
If you wish to use a textual database instead, Daniel Sleator has a nice
C program (with documentation!) that can be obtained via anonymous FTP
on the host space.pc.cs.cmu.edu in the directory /usr/sleator/public
See the file Sleator.README for more info.
Rakesh Agrawal has a package based on text files and Unix filters,
primarily awk; you may want to contact him at ragrawal@almaden.ibm.com
If you wish to use a Mac, Michael Brodie distributes the Program
Committee Chairperson's Aide (PCA). You can obtain PCA via anonymous
FTP from ftp.gte.com (132.197.8.2) in the "pub/dom/software"
directory. See the file PCA.README for more info.
