IntrW:This \w allows you to modify a number of factors which define the initial characteristics of the game.|MClick over OK when satisfied with values to start the game.
IntrW0
IntrW1:Icons within this group affect the physical aspects of the game universe.|MThe universe is displayed in a \w. The dimensions of this are defined by the shape, the number of objects in the universe, and the objects relative density.
IntrW2:Icons within this area define the number of objects in the game universe. These may be Star Systems, Blackholes, etc.
IntrW3:Number of objects in the games universe. |MChange its value by typing a suitable value, or using the associated adjuster arrows on either side.
IntrW4:\Sdecrease the number of stars within the universe by one.|MThis will decrease the final size of the Galaxy \w.
IntrW5:\Sincrease the number of stars within the universe by one.|MThis will increase the final size of the Galaxy \w.
IntrW7
IntrW6:Icons within this area define the density of objects in the universe. A higher value means objects closer together, and vice-versa.
IntrW8
IntrW15:This slider displays the density of the games universe. It determines the distance between objects.|MSet a value directly by clicking \s over slider.
IntrW9:Icons within this area define the shape of the Galaxy \w when the game starts.
IntrW10:Shows the shape of the Galaxy \w.|MClick \s or drag with \s to directly set the shape.
IntrW11:Change the Galaxy \w shape to one with a portait aspect.
IntrW12:Change the Galaxy \w shape to one with a landscape aspect.
IntrW13:\Saccept the current values and start Astrophel using them.
IntrW14:\Squit Astrophel.
IntrW16:\Sdecrease the stellar density.|MObjects within the universe will now be on average more distant from each other.|MThis will increase the final size of the Galaxy \w.
IntrW17:\Sincrease the stellar density.|MObjects within the universe will now be on average nearer to each other.|MThis will decrease the final size of the Galaxy \w.
IntrW19:\Sreset the values to a standard set defined within Astrophel.
IntrW18:\Ssave the current values into the Choices file. Astrophel will set the values initially to these on subsequent sessions.|MThe Astrophel$Choices system variable defines where the Choices file will be found.
IntrW21:Measures the proportion of the ARM's effort taken by Astrophel in generating the Galaxy. Higher the value, faster the process but the desktop will seem more "jurky".|MSee Acorns Usage utility.
IntrW22:\Sdecrease the proportion of the ARMs effort spent on creating the Astrophel Galaxy.|MThe lower this value the more responsive the desktop will seem, but creation will take longer.
IntrW23:\Sincrease the proportion of the ARMs effort spent on creating the Astrophel Galaxy.|MThe higher this value the creation process will take less time, but the desktop will not be so responsive.
GalxW:This \w shows the universe as we know it.|MClick \s on a point of light to show information, and manipulate it.|M\Duse the object in another Astrophel window.
GalAW:This \w displays statistics on the physical nature of the Galaxy.
GalAW2
GalAW3
GalAW4:Star types O, B and A are the brightest stars. They are pysically massive, with an appetite to match, resulting in a short lifetime. They do not father many planets, and any life will not have much time to evolve.
GalAW5:Star of type F are nearer to our own Sun, though are more extreme. As a result planets orbit further away and are bombarded by higher levels of radiation.
