  5. McAfee has improved the process that enables you to access your software upgrades.
  6.  
  7. In order to continue receiving upgrades as they become available, you need to register for McAfee's
  8. Backweb channel: Enterprise SecureCast. Beginning in 1998,  Enterprise SecureCast will push all 
  9. Upgrades directly to your computer.
  10.  
  11. McAfee's Enterprise SecureCast is for current owners of a corporate McAfee Software License. This direct-to-the-desktop approach allows you, the network administrator, to concentrate on other duties, and get your upgrades automatically.  SecureCast will also deliver your Virus Signature Updates (DAT files).

  13. In order to register for McAfee's Enterprise SecureCast, you will need your Customer Grant Number. Watch your postal mail in  early November-WE ARE SENDING YOU YOUR GRANT NUMBER.

  15. Effective January 1998, you will not be able to retrieve your upgrades manually. In 1998 your password will no longer work, so it is important that you register for Enterprise SecureCast right away.
