  10. I have been using Dopus and AmigaAMP for a long time and have always
  11. thought it would be nice if I could just double click on a mp3 file
  12. in dopus and amigaamp would play it. This could have been done so
  13. that the filetype simply ran the program passing the path of the mp3
  14. file to AmigaAMP, but I wanted it to check if AmigaAMP was already
  15. running before running another copy. If AmigaAMP is running it will
  16. simply tell AmigaAMP to play the mp3, if its not it will ask you
  17. if you wish to run AmigaAMP, if yes AmigaAMP will load and the file
  18. will play. Not a complicated script but my first experiment in ARexx
  19. it does work :)

  22. Installation

  25. I haven't made an install program because it is very simple to install.
  26. From dopus simply drag and drop all three directorys from the install
  27. directory into the dopus drawer. In other words the files in the arexx
  28. drawer need to go into the arexx drawer in the dopus directory, the
  29. file in Filetypes needs to go into the dopus filetypes drawer and the
  30. file in settings needs to go into the dopus settings drawer.
  31. Simply isn't it :)

  33. Now simply edit the file "damp.config" in the settings drawer to
  34. give the path and arguments to amigaamp so it loads the way you
  35. have the icon configured. See the example config for an example
  36. which loads amigaamp in newgui mode with a specified skin.
