  11. the solution treatment. Letters goes on about PC involvement. It would have been
  12. helpful if Robert Olsen had stated the socketed CPC6128 version letter, to fit a
  13. socket means de-solder the IC in most, not to be done by the inexperienced. Yep!
  14. PC's have a great advantage - speed greater than you can type the keyboard. When
  15. people have a radio ably micro-chip surgically implanted so brain waves are then
  16. PC readable it'll be fast. Nigel will make you a 686 Pentium for ú650.00. Anyone
  17. interested phone him. He is one of the UK MicroSoft Beta testers. Problem with a
  18. PC page is that "cures" are outdated by innovation by the time the print date is
  19. reached, unless you get an old PC.

  30. The RAMROM project continues - general information on the meaning of an RSX, and
  31. first steps in ROM writing. As usual, more sales than wants in the Market Place.
  32. Never heard of David Teague?  Well read about his technical innovations, all, we
  33. are informed, soon to be within the covers of WACCI. MICRODESIGN PLUS gets Peter
  34. Rogerson's run-a-round, (the italicised header is horrible - Ed.), and highly he
  35. praises it, casting derogatory asides towards POWERPAGE 128, which is PD so free
  36. and not an art package! Perhaps the next comparison test will be TETRIS 95 and a
  37. utility? GPAINT is easier to use, have you tried GPAINT II?

  39. OK, we all know that there are commands, e.g. NOT, that go unrecognised by 464's
  40. and here, Matthew Phllips, writes a little prog creating a few diagnostic RSX's.
  41. It allows loading  of incompatible programs to detect lines with an unrecognised
  42. command. The program type-in is only for the 464. You have to shell out for a PD
  43. disc if you've a 664 or 6128 - (durrrrrrrrr! the 6128 understands the commands).

  45. WACCI PD discs, Disc 1 - AJ's Concept disc and Disc 119 - Barrie Snells, are all
  46. games.  JONTY gets wired for sound - adding external speakers. On the writing of
  47. an article, good advice is to do it, leave it a few days, then come back to it.
