  32. AIDS     | Amusing German sampled speech by KKB. Very high quality reproduction.
  33. CRTC#5   | An er... not amazing demo. Better than CRTC 1-4, though...
  34. MALIBU4  | The first part of Malibu Crackers' fourth demo. Simple but good.
  35. `MERLYN#3` | This is one of the best demos in the whole Robot PD range. Really
  36.          | good soundtrack by Weee!, very smooth and colourful scrolltext, and
  37.          | a great animation of the wizard Merlyn blinking. Uses the whole of
  38.          | your monitor for graphics. Excellent review in ACU.
  39. PC1512   | A picture (with raster) by the excellent NWC of Denmark.
  40. `REVOLUTI` | Longshot (of Logon System)'s best ever one-screen demo, with great
  41.          | ST music. Not compatible with all CPCs (Multiface owners ok).
  42. THANKS-D | A short demo with an unreadable scroll by NWC. Generally a good demo
  43.          | but the music is, well, weird...

  48. ALFDEMO  | Simple demo, a psychedelic scroll, and an incredibly annoying sample
  49.          | of ALF (Alien Life Form) saying "Just kidding..."
  50. INTRO    | Not many PD libraries can boast this! A demo written especially for
  51.          | Robot PD by Spy Hunter of the Bitmasters - exclusive to Robot PD.
  52.          | This includes a good sample and some excellent digitised pictures.
  53. MA-BAKER | A sample - with re-mix - digitised by The Cracking Crew of Denmark.
  54.          | The Cracking Crew is actually an old name for NWC (New Way Cracking).
  55.          | This sample is amusing and of quite good quality.
  56. MUSIQUE  | Another sample - this time a pop song, with a screen loaded as well.
  57. PREVIEW  | Another Robot PD exclusive - a preview of the Bitmasters' second demo
  58.          | with such great routines as a 364-colour display (no joke!) and other
  59.          | good effects. Compiled especially for Robot PD by the Bitmasters.
  60. BOING!   | Simple bouncing logo around the monitor.

  62. DEM5 (`YAO Demo`)

  65. This disc contains the YAO demo by Fefesse and Stephane St. Martin of France,
  66. with a guest screen for 128k owners by P007 of Malibu Crackers and Mad Murdock.
  67. The YAO demo is one of the best demos ever with legal music in - there is some
  68. great artwork, an excellent sample and some very good animations. This disc is,
  69. quite simply, not to be missed! It will work on all CPCs (I don't know about the
  70. Plus range) but 464 owners will miss out on the 128k guest screen. However, it's
  71. still brilliant, even on a 464!

  73. DEM6 (Demo disc 6)
  74. AMSDOS, CPC 464/664/6128. Plus compatibility not guaranteed.

  76. ANIMATE  | A good animation by David Carter of the word "Robot" spinning,
  77.          | produced with Discovery's "Animator". Very smooth.
  78. COCKTAIL | An aid to alcoholics! Eight different cocktails with recipes and
  79.          | illustrations. Well presented.
  80. IB       | A simple preview of a demo by the "Iron Bidon". Some good artwork
  81.          | with a simple scroll.
  82. MCRTC    | CRTC Music Demo - two good tunes ("Platinum - Airborne" by Mike
  83.          | Oldfield and "Electro" by CRTC) computerised using EMU.
  84. MEGA5    | The "Crash" demo (part of a much larger demo) by Weee! and Merlyn of
  85.          | Germany. This is a pretty good demo (good soundtrack and original
  86.          | animation) but on some CPCs - including Pluses - it works only
  87.          | intermittently. There doesn't seem to be much logic to it!
  88. PENGDEMO | The Penguin Software catalogue disc intro with routines from demos
  89.          | by NWC and Weee!, and graphics by David Carter.
  90. SPOCK    | A good animation by David Saadoun of France - watch Kirk and Spock
  91.          | "talk" to each other, complete with authentic wiggly eyebrows...

  93. DEM7/8 (`Terrific Demo`)

  96. These two collections contain the first part of the "Terrific Demo", a German
  97. demo by Thriller and Weee! This demo combines good coding with fantastic music
  98. by Weee!, undoubtedly the best CPC musician around. There is even a built-in
  99. option to copy the demo! The demo is so large, it takes up two sides of a disc:
  100. therefore you will need to order collections DEM7 and DEM8 together. They
  101. do not load separately or without each other.
  102.  
  103. Note that this is only "Stage One" of the "Terrific Demo"! There will be further
  104. stages which you can add on coming later, and Robot PD will distribute them.
  105. The next stage will, apparently, include some games as well!
  106.  
  107. Unfortunately, the Terrific Demo is not compatible with all CPCs. It seems to
  108. be newer ones which are affected (producing a "Shell Shock" error message) but
  109. there is not much logic to which machines it doesn't work on. If you order this
  110. and you find it won't work, simply return the disc and we will replace it with
  111. another two collections of your choice (free of charge). You can't lose!

  113. DEM9 (Demo disc 9) - Artificial Intelligence 83%

  116. DEMO#01  | A good animation by David Carter, featuring the word "Robot" spinning
  117.          | around and exploding, then magically reforming. Very smooth.
  118. DIGWOMEN | A slideshow of digitised pictures of women (cries of "sexist!").
  119.          | None of them are in any way "naughty".
  120. `GPANOEL`  | A very well-drawn Christmas picture by the French GPA group, with a
  121.          | festive tune and clever scroll (only on some CPCs)
  122. INTRO    | The introduction to the disc: a demo in itself!
  123. LUMBER   | CRTC 6.5, "The Lumberjack Demo" - features digitised Monty Python
  124.          | sound and graphics.
  125. `VORSPANN` | A utility to create your own demos with moving streams of rasters
  126.          | (colour bars) and a smooth scroll. Quite easy to use and produces
  127.          | good results - like the intro to this disc! Very flexible and has
  128.          | been enthusiastically received by many users.

  153. `FISHTANK` | A fun program by Stuart Gascoigne - pick a fish and watch it swim

  155. REBOUND  | "Rebound Demo" by Alan Scully (aka Dino). A magazine listing RSX
  156.          | for the scrolling, followed by a massive plug for a non-PD game by

  163. This disc contains the 10th demo by the Legendary Demon Cracker. It is called
  164. the "Grafix Demo", and is a collection of static screens and short animations.
  165. There are a great number of parts - some taken from other PD programs. The
  166. demo takes up the whole disc.

  173. RIP-OFF: a British demo (3 parts) by Rudolph
  174. `GRAFIKDEMO`: a superb German animation, really smooth
  175. HACKER 2: not for the 464, simple graphics and a tune
  176. DOG FOOTY: a picture of a dog playing football, with the "Match of the Day" tune
  177. WORM ANIMATION: a worm and a 16-ton weight!
  178. `GPA INTRO`: an excellent intro by the French group GPA

  183. This collection contains three animations produced using Discovery's Animator
  184. (NOT needed to run the animations!) by David Carter, of Penguin Software. They
  185. are:

  187.      `Peggy` - a penguin in peril!
  188.      Geo - clever shape transformations.
  189.      `Bubbles` - a very impressive 3D animation, 3D not being an official
  190.       feature of the Animator!

  197. Two more 128k animations by David Carter. They are:

  199.      SCull PD 120 Frame Promo - yes, that's quite enough of that, thank you.
  200.      6128 DPD - the letters DPD (the old name for Penguin Software) whizzing
  201.       about the screen.

  203. There's also another animation, from Germany, which runs on all CPCs. It's
  204. called the `Amiga` animation, and it simulates the "Boing!" animation on the
  205. Amiga. It's in MODE 1 and does NOT palette-switch or use the CRTC to move the
  206. ball - and the result is incredible!

  208. DEM16 (`Rock Stars demo`)

  211. This demo, by Nullos Cracker, is a purely graphical demo. It contains twenty
  212. superb digitised pictures of pop and rock stars (e.g. Madonna, Michael Jackson,
  213. David Lee Roth, Eric Clapton) which appear on the screen in a variety of
  214. different ways. The quality of the digitisation (MODE 2 black and white) is
  215. very impressive.

  217. DEM17/18 (`The Demo` v4) - Artificial Intelligence 82%         The best demo ever!
  218. AMSDOS, all 128k CPCs and Pluses.                            Only from Robot PD!

  220. It's Logon System's latest creation. It was sent to Robot PD by Logon System,
  221. and you can't get it from any other library in the UK. It's quite simply the
  222. best demo EVER on the Amstrad, and a lot better than your average ST demo -
  223. and just as good as most Amiga demos. It's "The Demo", the superb new
  224. 128k-only demo by the best CPC demogroup...
  225.  
  226. There are seven parts in "The Demo", plus the selection screen (a demo in
  227. itself), the decruncher (an animation), the loading picture (incredible!),
  228. and the "Change Side" demos - with a great animation. There's a 3D scroll,
  229. an incredible pitch-related graphic equaliser, tons of animations and smooth
  230. scrolling messages, fantastic ST-ported music, and superbly drawn graphics.
  231. All the parts are in overscan - i.e. no border.

  233. If you have a 128k machine, you MUST order this. It's guaranteed to amaze
  234. you - and any straying 16-bit owners near your CPC.

  239. CRACKERS | Crackers' Fight by NWC. Quite a good demo!
  240. `DEMOM`    | The JR Demomaker. Rasters, scrolly messages, and 3-parallax
  241.          | starfields - a good utility.
  242. DINO1    | Alan Scully's first demo. Erm, well...
  243. `SDEMO`    | A very good demo from the Dutch group DragonBreed - complete with (if
  244.          | you have a 128k machine) excellent quality samples. Smooth scrolls,
  245.          | rasters and even a few "Amiga Graphics" pictures!
  246. SYNTAX   | A short demo from the French disc fanzine Syntax Error.
  247. TO-DELTA | By NWC, Max and OEW. Sounds promising? Think again - it was written
  248.          | in 1987...
