  5. Some of the software found in the directory hierarchy under /pub/cpc/ADATE is
  6. copyrighted. When known, the copyright owner/author is shown.
  7.  
  8. The intententions of this software collection:
  9.  
  10. - to preserve Amstrad software (cassette, tape, cartridge and rom), in a emulator
  11.   file format which can represent the original closely.
  12.   a) to preserve the original loading sequence and scheme
  13.   b) to preserve the original in a unmodified form; the software is as the 
  14.      publisher/developer intended
  15.  
  16. - to support the .cdt/.tzx tape image file format (a file format which can 
  17.   represent the audio signal from a cassette; therefore allowing cassette software
  18.   to be accuratly archived)
  19.  
  20. - to document the programs that are available for the Amstrad CPC
  21.  
  22. - to acknowledge the copyright owner and give details of the developer
  23.   and publisher. 
  24.  
  25. - to make it possible to see the credits of the title (programmer, artist, musician
  26.   producer etc)
  27.  
  28. - to do this in a free way. I do not make any money from this archive; and I do
  29.   not encourage others to do so either.

  33. To my knowledge none of this software is commercially available now. 
  34. I hope that the copyright owner does not mind that these titles are available for these
  35. reasons.

  37. However, if you are one of the copyright owners (or you can speak for one) and 
  38. you do not  want your software available here, please, send me an email and the 
  39. software will be removed from the site.
