  1.    I really expect this to be the last beta-test version of VFILER 4.1. 
  2. Unless I get reports about significant bugs, I will package up what I have
  3. done and make an official release next weekend.

  5.    This package is small.  I have not included the running update file that
  6. I did previously.  I trust people have that.  On the other hand, I have
  7. included the tentative HLP file.

  9.    The main changes are as follows:

  11. 1. The print functions have been significantly cleaned up (there had been
  12. quite a few bugs.  They now work both with and without formfeeds.  The
  13. headers at the top of the page include a page number.  Some related changes
  14. were also made to the view function.
  15.  
  16. 2. The screen handling for 'group delete' and 'group move' have been
  17. significantly improved.  All the superfluous screen updates have been
  18. eliminated.  Deleted files are replaced temporarily by a row of dots until
  19. the final screen update.  GD is much faster now (I couldn't stand it any
  20. longer!).

  22. 3. A number of other miscellaneous bugs were fixed.
