  4.     The EXTIME.COM program simply counts days from the 
  5. initilaization of the system clock, and 1988 is a leap year.  So, 
  6. if you don't correct for the extra day, your clock is off by a 
  7. day after February 29th.  This change to EXTIME88.LBR fixes the 
  8. leap year error by adding onesday to the clock.  It's a quick and 
  9. dirty solution, but it passes the test.  So we'll remind you now 
  10. that you'll have to make another fix in March 1992! I don't know 
  11. about you, but I expect to have a 10th birthday party for Ozzie!
  12. EXTIME89 and EXTIME90 work correctly, so you'll be ready without 
  13. the bother of editing the file or reassembling.

  21. ;         EXTIME (renamed Time.com on my disk) is an easier and
  22. ;         faster way to set date and time on an Osborne Executive.      
  23. ;                You don't have to put in slashes ("/") or semi
  24. ;         (":") colons, and the program knows the year - so you
  25. ;         don't have to type it either.
  26. ;                I downloaded this as part of a LBR from FOG#1
  27. ;         RBBS in California, called OXTOOLS.LBR, but this is the
  28. ;         only file I found useful.  All I did was to patch another
  29. ;         version for 1987 and 1986 and delete the one for 1985
  30. ;         (for obvious reasons) that was in the original library,
  31. ;         and stick them and the original DOC file (still squeezed)
  32. ;         and Z80 source for anyone who cares in4o a library.
  33. ;                Library has been updated again, it now contains
  34. ;         versions of the program for 1988 and 1989.  Enjoy.
