**** FINISHING THE PROGRAM ****
IT IS MOST IMPORTANT THAT YOU SHOULD FINISH THE PROGRAM BY RETURNING TO
THE MAIN MENU AND THEN SELECTING "E" TO EXIT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES
MUST YOU SWITCH OFF THE COMPUTER WITH THE DISKETTES IN THE DRIVES OR
REMOVE THE DISKETTES WITHOUT RETURNING TO THE MAIN MENU. IF YOU DO
EITHER, SOME OF THE DATABASE FILES WILL BE CORRUPTED AND ERRORS WILL
OCCUR IN YOUR ACCOUNTS. IF THIS SHOULD OCCUR OR IF THERE IS A POWER
FAILURE WHILST THE PROGRAMS ARE IN USE, IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT BOTH DISK-
ETTES SHOULD BE RESTORED BY COPYING FROM THE BACKUP DISKETTES AND ANY
DATA ENTERED SINCE THE BACKUPS WERE MADE, SHOULD BE RE-ENTERED.
THE PROCEDURE FOR TURNING OFF THE COMPUTER IS AS FOLLOWS......
PRESS .."E".. FROM THE THE MENU
WAIT FOR THE COMMAND LINE PROMPT OF========= A>

**** MAKING BACKUP DISKETTES ****
BACKUP DISKETTES ARE EXACT COPIES OF YOUR WORKING DISKETTES. THEY ARE
ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL TO THE SMOOTH FUNCTIONING OF AN ACCOUNTING SYSTEM.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU KEEP TWO SETS OF BACKUP DISKETTES. USUALLY,
YOU WILL MAKE BACKUPS AT THE END OF EACH DAY. MARK ONE PAIR OF BACKUP
DISKS "MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY" AND THE OTHER PAIR "TUESDAY, THURSDAY,
SATURDAY". OF COURSE, ONE DISK IN EACH PAIR SHOULD BE MARKED "DISK A:"
AND THE OTHER "DISK B:". USE THE FILE OR DISK COPYING UTILITY PROVIDED
WITH YOUR COMPUTER TO COPY FROM YOUR WORKING DISKS TO THE APPROPRIATE SET
OF BACKUP DISKS AT THE END OF EACH DAY. KEEP THE BACKUP DISKS IN A SAFE
PLACE, PREFERABLY SEPARATE FROM YOUR WORKING DISKS. TWO SETS OF BACKUP
DISKS ARE RECOMMENDED BECAUSE, WHEN YOU ARE ACTUALLY COPYING FROM THE
WORKING DISKS TO THE BACKUP, BOTH DISKS ARE VULNERABLE TO POWER FAILURES
OR MISTAKES. IF THE WORST HAPPENS, YOU WILL STILL HAVE ONE SET OF BACKUPS
TO USE.
