  1. If you want to physically write a check
  2. and then deliver it or mail it, or have
  3. already done so, enter "CHECK".  You
  4. may also enter "CHECK" if you made a
  5. withdrawal or transfer of funds using
  6. an automatic teller machine at the bank
  7. or elsewhere.  MONEY MAESTRO will
  8. record that you wrote the check, and
  9. deduct the amount from your checking
  10. account balance.

  12.      If you paid something with a
  13. Master Card, VISA card, or cash, then
  14. enter "MC", "VISA", or "CASH"
  15. respectively.  None of these will
  16. affect your checking account balance,
  17. but will keep records for budget and
  18. tax purposes.  Likewise, "MEMO" can be
  19. used to make notes for budget or tax
  20. purposes.

  22.      Any of the above can be
  23. abbreviated, since only the first few
  24. characters of the reply are inspected.
  25. Abbreviations recognized are MC, ME,
  26. CH, CA, and V.
