  1.    I recently suffered a failure of the hard disk in the SB180 that serves
  2. as my main work machine.  In the process, I unfortunately lost the most up-
  3. to-date version of the PCP MEX script suite, as described in my TCJ column
  4. in issue #45 (actually, I had even made some further improvements).  I
  5. believe that the problem with the drive is with the electronics board and
  6. not with the recording media.  If I can find someone who can repair the
  7. board, then I should be able to recover the lost files (or if I can locate
  8. the floppy disk on which I may have backed up the files for the TCJ column). 
  9. In any case, I wanted to get something out to save people from having to do
  10. a lot of typing.
