  7. SmallC/Z 0.1 and the associated SmallC/Z library CLIB 0.1 are based in large 
  8. part on the copyrighted (c) works Small-C 2.1 and its associated Small-C 
  9. library CLIB 2.1 by J.E. Hendrix and L.E. Payne. All their rights and 
  10. restrictions still apply - in particular, to quote Mr. Hendrix regarding 
  11. Small-C and and its associated Small-C library CLIB 2.1:

  13.     "This version of Small-C (and the Small-C library) is copyrighted; 
  14.     nevertheless, it is available to the general public for use without 
  15.     formal restrictions. Take it, use it, copy it, modify it, and give 
  16.     it away as you please. However, be sure to preserve the copyright 
  17.     notices. I am distributing Small-C under the user supported 
  18.     concept, so if you obtain a "free" copy and find it useful, send a 
  19.     registration form and $20 to the author.  You must obtain written 
  20.     permission to sell Small-C for more than your actual cost for

  27. SmallC/Z library CZVLIB 0.1 is based in large part on the work of Rick Conn and 
  28. others in the copyrighted (c) works VLIB 1.1 and Z3LIB 1.3 for use with the 
  29. ZCPR (c) command processor replacement. All restrictions to those works are 
  30. also applicable to the code based on them in SmallC/Z library CZVLIB 0.1.

  34. There has also been substantial additional work in all three SmallC/Z related 
  35. items - the SmallC/Z v0.1 compiler, and the SmallC/Z libraries CLIB 0.1 and 
  36. CZVLIB 0.1. Any of this work, including source code, binary linkable and 
  37. executable code and documentation, not covered by the above is copright (c) 
  38. 1989, Al Grabauskas and has similar restrictions, in particular - you can copy, 
  39. modify or give it away freely. You must obtain written permission from everyone 
  40. mentioned in this file by name to distribute SmallC/Z and its associated 
  41. libraries in whole or in part for more than your actual cost for media, 
  42. packaging and postage. I make no request for individual user registration or 
  43. monetary contributions - my interest is solely in restricting sales for profit.

  56.       The  Small-C    compiler  is  furnished for your use and that of
  57.       your friends    and  acquaintances.    You  are  encouraged   to
  58.       distribute  it  freely;  but if you charge more than your cost
  59.       for media and postage then you  are  expected  to  follow  the
  60.       terms of  the Commercial Distribution Agreement below.  In any
  61.       case, you must retain all  copyright    notices.    These  terms
  62.       apply to both source and object Small-C files.

  64.       If  you received  a free  copy  of Small-C, you are welcome to
  65.       donate $25 to J. E. Hendrix as a token  of  your  appreciation
  66.       and  to  support  further  development  of Small-C and related
