  2. This version of VDE231.COM is configured for the Kaypro '83 model computers
  3. (no inverse video, etc.).  Use VINST23.COM to install video commands if you
  4. wish.  I did not change the VDM program.  The only other change I have made
  5. is to this file.  You must use VINST23.COM to install your printer.

  15.      Version 2.31 of VDE/M fixes the following problems in version 2.30:

  17.      1.  If you used the ^QX command when the end of file was visible on the
  18. screen, the program could crash.  This is a very serious problem in VDE 2.30,
  19. which should no longer be used.
  20.  
  21.      2.  If an attempt to erase a file with ESC-E failed, the original file
  22. name was not restored properly.
  23.  
  24.      3.  It was hard to tell when a global replace (^QA) was in progress.  A
  25. new prompt has been added at the right end of the status line, for when ^QA is
  26. expecting input.
