This note is only of concern to users with BDOS upgrades that have
changed the action of function 13: reset system.
QTERM V4.2g was made necessary to correct a bug that has been present
in all earlier versions up to and including V4.2f: if a download is
done (^\ R) with a catch file open, the catch file can be corrupted.
This was caused by doing the BDOS reset system function 13 while the
catch file was open. This problem has now been fixed, in that function
13 is only used when there is no file open. If there is a catch file
open, function 37 is used, and in such a manner that the DRI BDOS bug
concerning application of function 37 to the currently logged drive is
avoided. However, it has been drawn to my attention that some BDOS
upgrades may not reset all drives when a function 13 is executed. If
you have such a system, care should be used when downloading and opening
catch files, since QTERM will assume that the drive is writeable after
the reset function.
