It is recommended that some aliases be created to run the
software that works with BozBBS, since it runs from the command
line. The sysop might want to rename BYE to some other name and
include "bye" in the logout aliases, because the alias that seems
to work the best is
logout=hangup=bye=bolt=later=etc.=etc. era curuser.dat;bye+
(assuming a name of BYE+.COM, which is what I used)
You can also include your "host enable" commands in the ALIAS.CMD
entry, because of BYE's nature as a host program. Aliases
probably will be useful for other commands like passwd, post,
and usrlist. Alternatively, if you have SH.COM, you can use it to
build a "shell" for a slightly more user-friendly BBS for public
use. I haven't done this, but it should not be too difficult as
text files can be used for menus. BozBBS is a modular BBS system
-- use it to fit your needs.
